Meigs' expanded Wertheim operation

A permutation of radical hysterectomy— excision of the uterus, part of the posterior area of vagina, both adnexae, and sharp dissection of regional nodes to the pelvic wall and down to the levator fascia—performed in the face of uterine malignancy. It is rarely dignified eponymously.
