Marituba virus

A negative-sense, single-stranded RNA virus of the Bunyaviridae family, genus Orthobunyavirus, first isolated in the Oriboca Forest in the Brazilian Amazon; its natural reservoir includes monkeys and other mammals—e.g., opossums, rats and sloths.
