MYO9B

A gene on chromosome 19p13.1 belonging to the myosin family of actin-based molecular motor heavy chain proteins that binds calmodulin, which serves as a light chain. The MYOB/calmodulin complex displays processive movement on actin filaments toward the minus-end.

Molecular pathology
MYOB polymorphisms are associated with coeliac disease and ulcerative colitis.
