MBP

Abbreviation for major basic protein.

MBP

A gene on chromosome 18q23 that encodes myelin basic protein, a major component of the myelin sheath of oligodendrocytes and Schwann cells, which is also present in the bone marrow and in the immune system where it induces T-cell proliferation.

Molecular pathology
Reduction in the surface charge of MBP may result in a weakened attachment to the myelin membrane and play a role in demyelinating diseases such as multiple sclerosis.

MBP

Mean blood pressure

Incubation of GsiA-MBP with TEV protease could separate GsiA from MBP. After MBP and gel filtration column purification, the purity level of GsiA was in excess of 95% (Figure 1(c)).
In order to calculate MBP, both the SF (MBPSF) and the CF (MBPCF) formulas previously described were utilised.
Although further studies can be planned to find out the rationale behind the greater reduction in DBP from 4th week onward and in SBP and MBP for the period between 4th and 12th week with telmisartan than ramipril.
Then, 100 [micro]l MBP (50 [micro]l in each side) or 100 [micro]l PBS were injected into the thymuses in the mice of Groups A and B, respectively, while the mice in Group C were just punctured on both sides of the thymus with nothing injected.
Both MBC and MBP were then determined as described below.
MBP levels do not increase in early period of stroke cases.
"While the de Blasio administration continues to believe that MBP carries with it health risks, given the sacred nature of this ritual to the community, the administration is pursuing a policy centered around education of health risks by the health care community and respect for traditional practices by the religious community," the administration statement said.
Em relacao a amamentacao, observou-se que 94,4% do total de criancas da coorte tiveram acesso ao leite materno e que as criancas do grupo PN tiveram significativamente mais acesso ao leite materno em comparacao aos grupos MBP e BP.
Considering the whole genome sequence length (536 Mbp), the density of SSRs present in cassava was estimated to be ~50 SSRs per Mbp (Figure 1).
MBP is chosen as a representative target contaminant because of its widespread occurrence in aqueous environment.
There were no significant differences in OBF, IOP, SBP, DBP, MBP, or PR between the subjects before they were administered any of the formulas.
Noting that myelin basic protein (MBP) has been shown to degrade A beta chains, the team decided to couple it with CTB to see if MBP would be permitted to cross.
