Loeb’s deciduoma

An obsolete term for a circumscribed, mechanically or hormonally induced decidual reaction occurring in absence of a fertilised ovum.

(di-sij?oo-o'ma) [ decidua + -oma]
1. A uterine tumor composed of chorionic membranes or decidual tissue that remain in the uterus following pregnancy.
2. A decidual mass in the uterus caused by trauma.

benign deciduoma

An overgrowth of decidual cells, following pregnancy or trauma to the uterus.
