Li·bo·ri·us meth·od

(li-bō'rē-ŭs),
a method for culturing anaerobic bacteria; a stab culture is made in the appropriate agar medium, then more of the same medium is liquefied and poured into the test tube on top of the stab culture, effectually sealing it from the air.
