Legg-Cal·vé-Per·thes dis·ease
(leg kahl-vē pār'tĕz di-zēz')Self-limiting pediatric disease of the femoral head caused by poor circulation. The degeneration of the femoral head is followed by regeneration and absorption of bone. The process may take 4 years. Usually found in children aged 4-8 years.
