LAMC2(redirected from LAMNB2)
LAMC2A gene on chromosome 1q25-q31 that encodes laminin gamma 2, an extracellular matrix protein that with alpha 3 and beta 3 chains constitutes laminin 5, an integral part of the anchoring filaments that connect epithelial cells to the underlying basement membrane.
LAMC2 mutations cause junctional epidermolysis bullosa Herlitz type.
