LAMC3 A gene on chromosome 9q31-q34 that encodes laminin gamma3, an extracellular matrix protein broadly expressed in skin—especially at the dermal-epidermal junction at points of nerve penetration—the heart and the apical surface of ciliated epithelial cells of the lung, as well as the oviduct, epididymis, ductus deferens and seminiferous tubules.
