Kissing Balloon Angioplasty

A procedure used for percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) of aterial bifurcations which have a difficult access, by placing 2 stents. While the technique reduces the rate of transient side-branch occlusion compared to sequential PTCA, it doesn’t improve immediate or long-term outcomes for stenting of bifurcation lesions
