Rounded masses of glassy (hyaline) material found in areas of kidney damage in the nodular type of diabetic NEPHROPATHY that may occur in people who have had DIABETES for several years. The condition features protein in the urine, generalized OEDEMA and high blood pressure (HYPERTENSION).
