Kernohan’s notch

An indentation of a cerebral peduncle caused by transtentorial (uncal) herniation due to primary disease (e.g., brain tumour, subdural haematoma of the brain) on the opposite site as the notch.
 
Clinical findings
Ipsilateral weakness.
