Keller's operation

A surgical treatment for HALLUX VALGUS or HALLUX RIGIDUS, in which the near (proximal) half of the nearer toe bone is removed together with any bony outgrowth (exostosis) and a false join allowed to form. (Colonel William Lordan Keller, 1874–1959, American surgeon)
