CDKN3

A gene on chromosome 14q22 that encodes a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor, which interacts with and dephosphorylates CDK2 kinase, thereby preventing the activation of CDK2 kinase.

Molecular pathology
CDKN3 is deleted, mutated or overexpressed in several kinds of cancers.
