Joined Up Working

Joined Up Working

A term for collaboration across organisational boundaries to tackle shared issues, which is becoming more common in the public sector where organisations work to address shared problems and efficiently deliver customer-focused public services. Joined up working is key to central Governments’ programmes to modernise the UK economy, schools, the NHS and Criminal Justice system, at both national (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, England) and local levels.
