IL20

A gene on chromosome 1q32 that encodes IL20, a cytokine which acts through STAT3 and may be involved in epidermal function. IL20 is also a popular, non-HUGO symbol for what is now designated IL-17B, see there.

Defects in IL20 may play a role in psoriasis.
