When kids grow up with the idea that movement is an integral aspect of all parts of life, we can start shifting the tide on the global epidemic of preventable inactivity-related diseases
. That means a world of healthier and happier lives.
This first stage will be followed by targeted campaigns for priority groups whose level of activity is very low or who have a higher risk of inactivity-related diseases
, such as people with disabilities, women, the elderly and people with clinical conditions such as obesity and diabetes.
