CXCL11

A gene on chromosome 4q21 that encodes a CXC-type chemokine that is chemotactic for IL-activated T-cells but not unstimulated T-cells, neutrophils or monocytes. CXCL11 induces calcium release in activated T-cells, binds to CXCR3 and may play an important role in CNS diseases involving T-cell recruitment. It may also play a role in cutaneous immune responses.

IP9 is about individual freedom and a public employee's right to choose.
IP9 would apply only to public workers - people who work for the state and local government - so the question is this: Who does the governor think will rip off Oregon's public employees if the measure passes?
So, if public employers slashed the salaries and benefits of their workers under IP9, the governor and the public would have only themselves to blame.
The idea behind IP9 is the belief that Oregon public employees are smart enough to choose what is best for them and their families.
