Highly Skilled Migrant Programme

A former UK immigration programme for entry to the UK for successful people with sought-after skills, which is similar to the skilled migration programs once used for entry to Australia and Canada. The HSMP has been replaced by Tier 1 (General) of the UK's new points-based system, which uses criteria very similar to the HSMP.
