Hoxsey medicine

Fringe oncology
Either of two preparations—popularly known as the “pink medicine” and the “black medicine” (or brown tonic)—which were formulated by Harvey Hoxsey and promoted in the 1950s as a therapy for cancer. The FDA evaluated the “medicines” and concluded they were wholly ineffective.
