Hoxsey medicineFringe oncology
Either of two preparations—popularly known as the “pink medicine” and the “black medicine” (or brown tonic)—which were formulated by Harvey Hoxsey and promoted in the 1950s as a therapy for cancer. The FDA evaluated the “medicines” and concluded they were wholly ineffective.
