Hewitt Patricia

A Labour Party Member of Parliament for Leicester West (1997–2010), who served in the Blair cabinet as Secretary of State for Health. During her 2-year tenure in that post, Hewitt pushed through a ban on smoking in public places and balanced the NHS budget (by implementing deep cuts in the service).
