(1) A British watchdog organisation—formerly, Quackbusters and Campaign Against Health Fraud—dedicated to evaluating the validity, or lack thereof, of alternative healthcare methods.
(2) A new independent national body with the power to monitor the NHS and to refer patients’ concerns to a wide range of authorities.
