TRIM10

A gene on chromosome 7q21.3 that encodes a protein with a so-called TRIM motif, which has zinc-binding domains, a RING domain, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. TRIM10 is thought to play a role in terminal differentiation of erythroid cells.

In the rest of the models of Table VI, we control (separately) for a Herfindahl Index of institutional investors' stakes in the firm (HERF1) in Models 2 and 6, a Herfindahl Index (HERF2) that measures the value-weighted average of institutional investors' Herfindahl Index in Models 3 and 7, and the value-weighted average of the fraction of institutional investors' portfolios that are invested in the firm's industry (IOIW) in Models 4 and 8.
The additional variables that capture institutional investors' characteristics are: PUBO, the ownership by public pension funds that are members of the Council of Institutional Investors; HERF1, the Herfindahl Index of institutional investors' stakes in the firm; HERF2, the value-weighted average of institutional investors' Herfindahl Indexes; and IOIW, the value-weighted average of the fraction of institutional investors' portfolios that are invested in the firm's industry.
