Green Book with you--you may need it." This wasn't simply a marketing slogan, it was the truth.
"The
Green Book: Guide to Freedom" airs at noon Saturday, March 2, on the network, and is also available from Vudu, Fandango Now, Amazon, iTunes and Google Play.
Green Book is based on the true story of the black pianist Dr Don Shirley and the white driver, Tony Vallelonga, he hired during a Deep South tour in 1962.

Green Book" took home the best pic-ture Oscar, while Alfonso Cuaron's "Roma" won for best director, best foreign film and best cinematography.
But not everyone was convinced John Lewis should have been given
Green Book to present.
Green Book won three trophies in total, including best picture, which had been expected to go to Netflix's Roma.

Green Book", directed by director Peter Farrelly, took home the Oscar for best picture, overcoming a strong competition from "Roma," "A Star is Born" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" at the 91st annual Academy Awards last night.
