The Albert Einstein Institute (Max Planck Institute for
Gravitational Physics) in Golm (near Potsdam) and Hannover is an international leading research center for
gravitational physics.
Bruce Allen, managing director of the Max Planck Institute for
Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute), adds, "Einstein thought gravitational waves were too weak to detect, and didn't believe in black holes.

"Let's say this: The first discovery of gravitational waves is a Nobel Prize-winning venture," Bruce Allen, a physicist at the Max Planck Institute for
Gravitational Physics in Hannover, Germany, told (http://in.reuters.com/article/space-gravity-waves-idINKCN0VK06X) Reuters.
From there, Andy Middleton discussed sustainability, Lionel Fanthorpe addressed the supernatural and BS Sathyaprakash, the head of the
gravitational physics group at Cardiff University, talked about the universe.
The discovery was made as part of the Pulsar Arecibo L-Band Feed Array (PALFA) survey, which aims to find a large sample of pulsars and to discover rare objects useful for probing fundamental aspects of neutron star physics and testing theories of
gravitational physics. Efforts are now under way to detect radio bursts using radio telescopes that can observe broad swaths of the sky to help identify them.
Scientists at the Max Planck Institute for
Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute/AEI) have now succeeded in simulating a mechanism which could produce such strong magnetic fields prior to the collapse to a black hole.

Today we have a discovery that con-firms the work of another giant of
gravitational physics, Albert Einstein.
