NPBWR1

A gene on chromosome 8p22-q21.13 that encodes a G coupled-protein receptor which binds neuropeptides B and W and interacts specifically with a number of opioid ligands. NPBWR1 may be involved in neuroendocrine regulation, food intake and organising other signals.
