GP9(redirected from GP-IX)
GP9A gene on chromosome 3q21.3 that encodes a surface membrane platelet glycoprotein, which forms a 1-to-1 non-covalent complex with glycoprotein Ib, functioning as a von Willebrand factor receptor. The complete receptor complex consists of alpha subunit, beta subunit (the GP9 product) and platelet glycoprotein V.
