JAKMIP1(redirected from GABA-B receptor-binding protein)
JAKMIP1A gene on chromosome 4p16.1 that encodes encodes janus kinase and microtubule-interacting protein 2, which associates with microtubules and may play a role in the microtubule-dependent transport of the GABA-B receptor. JAKMIP1 may also play a role in JAK1 signalling and regulate microtubule cytoskeleton rearrangement. It self-associates as a homodimer, forms a complex with GABBR1 and KIF5B/kinesin-1, and interacts with JAK1 and TYK2.
