A condition characterised by chronic inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue of the buttocks and perineal regions—but also occurs in the axillae, upper back, and gluteal intertriginous regions—accompanied by multiple fistulous tracts—hence the name, fox den—with horizontal epifascial extension
