Fordyce disease
, Fordyce spots (for′dīs″) [John Fordyce, U.S. dermatologist, 1858–1925]
Enlarged ectopic sebaceous glands in the mucosa of the mouth and genitals. They appear as small yellow spots. They are asymptomatic and are present in most people.
