FGF11(redirected from FGF-11)
FGF11A gene on chromosome 17p13.1 that encodes fibroblast growth factor 11 of the FGF family, which bind heparin and have a broad range of cellular activities, including cell survival, division, differentiation and migration, embryonic development, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumour growth and invasion. FGF11’s function is unknown, but is thought to play a role in nervous system development and function.
