Ectopic air in orbital cavities, servical spaces, mediastinum, epidural space,
extraperitoneal abdomen and scrotum was depicted on computed tomography of head, neck, thorax and abdomen (Figure 2, 3).
Table-III: Frequency of
extraperitoneal insuffiliation, bowel, minor vessel injury.
The crash left her with a lacerated kidney,
extraperitoneal bladder rupture, a broken leg that required surgery to insert a steel rod and fractured sacral bones.
Additionally, ureteral herniation is classified into two variants, paraperitoneal (80% of cases) and
extraperitoneal (20% of cases).
Most of them are
extraperitoneal and managed adequately with bladder drainage through urethral catheter.
The aim of this study was to prospectively examine minimally invasive preperitoneal (MIP) single-layer mesh repair with total
extraperitoneal (TEP) repair in terms of operative time, length of time before return to work, early and late period complications, recurrence, and chronic pain.
Postpartum SRUB, including intraperitoneal SRUB and
extraperitoneal SRUB, is mainly on the basis of site of rupture.
These techniques can be divided into intraperitoneal and
extraperitoneal repair of inguinal hernia.7,9,10
(2) There are three forms of bladder herniation including para-peritoneal, intraperitoneal, and
extraperitoneal. (3) Most of the patients are asymptomatic and diagnosed incidentally.
In their study, Tavassoli et al [15] who compared the two methods of Lichtenstein and laparoscopic Totally
Extraperitoneal (TEP) hernia repair, the time to resume the living activity in TEP group was 3.16 [+ or -] 3.1 days, significantly less than that in Lichtenstein group which was 6.6 [+ or -] 3.05 days.
In the future, we anticipate pursuing further regulatory clearances for the da Vinci SP Surgical System, including transoral, transanal, and
extraperitoneal applications, broadening the applicability of the SP platform over time.
