A fungal genus in the family Entomophthoraceae, widely distributed in soil and among plants, insects, and amphibians. C. coronatus causes conidiobolomycosis, a chronic granulomatous disease of submucosal and subcutaneous tissues. Formerly Entomopthora and E. coronata.
