echinodermany member of the phylum Echinodermata, including the sea urchins, starfish, brittle-stars, sea cucumbers, feather stars and sea lillies. The phylum is characterized by a pentaradiate structure (a five-sided RADIAL SYMMETRY) and the presence of tube feet in most forms.
