EGR3(redirected from EGR-3)
EGR3A gene on chromosome 8p23-p21 that encodes a DNA-binding nuclear protein of the EGR family of C2H2-type zinc-finger transcriptional regulators. EGR3 plays a role in regulating the transcription of genes that control biological rhythm, and it is thought to participate in lymphocyte, muscle and neuronal development and in endothelial cell growth and migration.
