EFNA2

EFNA2

A gene on chromosome 19p13.3 that encodes ephrin-A2, a cell surface GPI-bound ligand for the Eph family of tyrosine kinase receptors, which are crucial for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. EFNA2, with the EPHA2 receptor, may play a role in bone remodelling by regulating osteoclastogenesis and osteoblastogenesis. It binds to EPHA3, EPHA4 and EPHA5; it interacts with and activates EPHA8.

However, I find that an increase in overall economic freedom exhibits no statistically significant relationship with income convergence in high-income states--only one underlying subcomponent coefficient, EFNA2, exhibits statistical significance here (Table 4).
8) Meanwhile, standard deviation increases in EFNA1 and EFNA2 are associated with an approximately half and third standard deviation increase in income per capita, respectively.
Meanwhile, standard deviation increases in EFNA1 and EFNA2 are associated with approximately half a standard deviation drop in the unemployment rate.
