EFHD2

A gene on chromosome 1p36.21 that encodes an EF-hand-domain protein which may regulate B-cell-receptor-induced B-cell apoptosis. EFHD2 downregulates the canonical NF-kappB-activating branch and controls spontaneous apoptosis by regulating the amount of BCL2L1.
