Patient discussion about TCM

Q. What credibility does TCM has and where? My brother is an alcoholic and I want to try Chinese medicine for him as a first step instead of trying other systems first and try Chinese medicine if the other systems fail. But my neighbor suggests me to try other system of medicine first and if that doesn’t work to try Chinese medicine as the last remedy. Why did he say so? What credibility does TCM has and where? Please give me motivating answers.

A. I was an alcoholic and after diagnosis, my mom referred me to TCM immediately and with the treatment for about 4 months I started to feel well and soon it helped me in reducing alcohol. She choose TCM and not any other session and medicine for me…I don’t know what would have happened if I would have approached any other system of medicine and therapies. Chinese system of medicine made us happy with the results. My personal advice to you to is to have faith in one system of medicine and follow that system whole-heartedly.
