These medicines are for psoriasis (Dovobet Gel), asthma (Seretide Evohaler 250mcg), asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (DuoResp Spiromax 160mcg/4.5mcg Inhaler) and COPD only (Incruse Ellipta 55mcg Inhaler and Spiriva 18mcg Inhalation Powder Capsules).
After many years of using topical steroids (eg Dovobet), which do work for some people, my skin is noticeably better.
In addition, they were randomized to topical calcipotriol/betamethasone (Taclonex, Dovobet, Daivobet) or placebo applied once daily during the first 4 weeks, then on an as-needed basis.

In Europe and Canada, where it has been available as Dovobet or Daivobet for several years, it has rapidly grabbed market share.
But now Dublin-based LEO Laboratories have invented Dovobet, a clear cream which only has to be applied once a day.
It contains calcipotriol and a steroid, so ask your doctor if he thinks Dovobet is for you.
The product, a combination of betamethasone dipropionate 0.064% and calcipotriene 0.005%, has been available in Europe as Daivobet since 2001 and in Canada as Dovobet since 2002, and will be marketed in the United States by Warner Chilcott and LEO Pharma.
As well as reaching the co-promotion agreement, Galen will enter into a development arrangement with LEO Pharma to develop Dovobet, a combination product for the US.
Dovobet combines calcipotriol (a vitamin D supplement) and betamethasone dipropionate (a corticosteroid) which have been widely used separately to treat psoriasis.
