[TA]a crescentic line (not always clearly defined) that marks the lower limit of the posterior layer of the sheath of the rectus abdominis muscle.

Douglas line
A crescent-shaped line at the lower limit of the posterior sheath of the rectus abdominis muscle. It is sometimes indistinct.
