Domagk's method

Domagk’s method

An obsolete term for a crude, rarely used technique for determining the presence of phagocytic cells in the mononuclear-phagocytic (or reticuloendothelial) system; bacteria are injected intravenously into a rat, the tissues of which are then gram stained and counterstained with borax carmine.
