During this session, each participant was instructed in the proper form and technique of depth jump exercise (familiarization session, day 1).
Then they moved to the exercise room, where they remained for about 20 min: LI depth jump exercise, MI depth jump exercise and HI depth jump exercise.
Each participant performed 5 sets of 20 repetitions of depth jump from the height of a 20-cm box (day 2, LI), 40-cm box (day 3, MI) and 60-cm box (day 4, HI) onto a wrestling-type mat with an interval of 8 sec between jumps and 120 sec between sets.
The purpose of this study was to compare the potentiating effects of depth jump vs.
Results from previous studies [11, 15, 17, 19, 25] suggest that the depth jump and box jump warm-ups used in this study were not intense enough for collegiate players to elicit a potentiation response.
This study did not find an increase in vertical jump performance following either depth jump or box jump warm-ups.

The following motric indicators were measured: the explosive power of upper limbs as they threw the rounder's ball and the explosive power of the lower limbs for which we used the depth jump
without take-off and the explosive power of lower limbs during the exercises of high jump without take off and with two steps take-off.
Since the atmospheric veil mainly depends on the scene depth information of original foggy image, which tends to be constant most of time, the desirable atmospheric veil should be smooth except along edges with large depth jumps. Based on this assumption, our basic idea is to obtain a more accurate atmospheric veil from minimum color component and dark channel by using some filter tools.
The edge information is important as they suppose possible large depth jumps among the objects, such as the edges between the leaves and the wall in Fig.
The plyometric exercises were performed in the following order: depth jumps, step-ups, box jumps, and "froggies." There was a one-minute active recovery period between sets during which the subjects walked around casually.
During depth jumps, subjects stepped off a box, landed into a squat with thighs parallel to the ground, and then jumped as quickly as possible to a maximum vertical height.
