French dermatologist, 1856–1938.
A rare autosomal dominant skin disease characterized by numerous warty papules that merge into large plaques. The lesions often become infected and may have an offensive odor. Synonym: keratosis follicularis
The skin change produced when the skin lesion in urticaria pigmentosa is rubbed briskly. The area usually begins to itch and becomes raised and surrounded by erythema. See: mastocytosis; urticaria pigmentosa
