DLGAP5

A gene on chromosome 14q22.3 that encodes disks-associated protein 5, a key regulator of adherens junction integrity and differentiation, which may be involved in CDH1-mediated adhesion and signalling in epithelial cells; it is a potential cell cycle regulator with a possible role in carcinogenesis.
