Harper's book was an explanation of chiropractic theory as promulgated by DD Palmer. The essence of Dr.
Harper, using DD Palmers ideas, theorized that these neurological reflections from an altered cellular environment, and the reaction of the cells to this abnormal environmental stress, resulted in the chiropractic subluxation complex.
