crowd surfing

A group activity in which a person is passed overhead during a concert from one part of the venue to another, the surfer’s weight being supported by the hands of those underneath.

Cons
Range from unwanted groping of surfers to death; 9 deaths at a Pearl Jam concert in 2000 in Roskilde, Denmark were linked to crowd surfing, which led to its ban at most festivals.
