Clutton’s joint

A type of painful symmetric arthritis of the knees, which may also affect elbows and ankles, and is caused by congenital syphilis.
 
Clinical findings
Acute or insidious onset of pain and swelling, with synovial thickening and effusion.
 
Imaging
Tibial periostitis.
