Rzoska J (1956) On the variability and status of the
cladocera Ceriodaphnia cornuta and C.
Distribution and seasonal dynamics of the Ponto-Caspian invader Cercopagis pengoi (Crustacea,
Cladocera) in the Neva Estuary (Gulf of Finland).
The substantial salinity tolerance demonstrated by many aquatic invertebrates appears to conflict with the no tion of ecological diversity in such species-rich taxa as the Chironomidae, Ostracoda, and
Cladocera, which would predict more narrow niche separation, a clear unimodal response to salinity change, and consistent patterns of species replacement along the salinity gradient.
0.1 mL of the condensed sample was used to count the individuals of protozoa and 1 mL was used to count the number of rotifera,
cladocera and copepods under microscope.
Production of male neonates in Daphnia magna (
Cladocera, Crustacea) exposed to juvenile hormones and their analogs.
The dataset were organized considering the geographic coordinates of each place, richness by zooplankton group (Copepoda,
Cladocera and Rotifera), richness by total zooplankton (sum of all groups) and local climate data (average of annual air temperature) in each geographic point.
Osmoregulatory capacity of the
cladocera. Journal of Comparative Physiology B: Biochemical, Systemic, and Environmental Physiology 164(8): 671-683.
En todos los sitios de muestreo (con excepcion del 4) se registraron efipios de
Cladocera, sobre todo en los sitios 3 y 6.
Percent composition was similar among the five zones with rotifers making up the largest proportion followed by the nauplii,
cladocera, cyclopoid copepods and calanoid copepods.
In total, 61 holoplankton taxa belonging to 7 categories: Protozoa, Cnidaria, Rotifera, Crustacea (Copepoda,
Cladocera, Ostracoda, Amphipoda and Mysidacea), Chaetognatha, Mollusca, Larvacea, and 8 different types of meroplankton were also recorded (Table IV).
