lenticulostriate arteries(1) Any of the anterolateral central arteries of the sphenoidal part of middle cerebral artery—i.e., lenticulostriate artery—which was regarded as having an increased risk of rupture.
(2) Anterolateral central arteries of the sphenoidal part of the middle cerebral artery; arteriae centrales anterolaterales; partis sphenoidalis arteriae cerebri mediae [NA6]; anterolateral thalamostriate arteries.
