Champagne Glass Appearance
A fanciful descriptor for the inner pelvic contour with narrowed sacrosciatic notches typical of achondroplasia, in which the pelvic width exceeds the depth due to an increased iliac base; in contrast, the ‘brandy snifter’ contour is normal and the ‘wine glass’ contour occurs in Morquio syndrome
